Alliance Insurance Services providing scholarship in honor of ‘Distracted Driving Month’

In recognition of April as “Distracted Driving Month”, Alliance Insurance Services is awarding money for college to three students who produce the best videos on the dangers of distracted driving.

 

“This is the fourth year we’ve offered scholarships, but this year, the funding levels are doubled, thanks to the generosity of Dr. Candice Fix, owner of Magnolia Eye Care, who contributed to matching amounts based on last year’s totals,” said Christopher Cook, owner of Alliance Insurance Services.

 

‘We want to educate young people by offering scholarships, but also by getting them involved with raising awareness about the tragedy of distracted driving,” said Cook.

We're inviting students to join us in raising awareness by submitting a three-minute video highlighting the dangers of distracted driving. The winners will receive financial support for their educational endeavors.
