NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — North Charleston Police say a pedestrian was killed in a collision involving a tow truck Sunday on I-526 westbound.

 

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene, according to police.

 

Police said the collision happened around 5:30 p.m. at Leeds Avenue.

 

That portion of I-526 westbound was closed until about 8pm Sunday.
