Rollback/dump truck

Has anyone ever swapped the tilt cylinders on a rollback for longer stroke telescopic cylinders? I’m wanting to have a truck that can pull double duty as an equipment hauler and a dump truck for my tree service.

Have thought about it, but in my mind the rear overhang behind the tire would hit the ground before achieving the height to "dump " off. You would also be 17 or 19 feet tall if you use a standard style rollback bed.  You could probably custom build something shorter. I have saw some hook lift style trucks that had different beds to switch between them.

There’s a company called rampco who makes one but I’ve only seen their pictures and videos. So I know it “can” be done. I just don’t know how much trouble it would be. I don’t own a rollback to look at or get measurements from. I’m wondering if I cut the bed down a little in the back if I’d be able to get the clearance I’d need to dump. I don’t need a super low loading angle since I’d only be moving equipment capable of clearing a steeper angle.
