TowForce
As we head into the Holiday Weekend, we just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Safe and Enjoyable extended weekend. For most in the industry, this will be the usual working weekend with more traffic on the roadways. For those that are getting to take some time off, whatever you do make safety a priority. We cannot emphasize that this will be a dangerous weekend. Not only the Fireworks; but the Roadside Hazards. Take every precaution possible, and stress to both co-workers and employees not to take chances. It is not a sign of weakness to call for a backup to assist with traffic. Law Enforcement will be out in force over the Holiday weekend. At a minimum get them started for you when in a Hazardous Location. It's just another call to cancel them should you be able to load up and go. Also, we want to remind you of Tow First. Do not change tires on the side of the road. This is one of the most dangerous practices in the Towing Industry. Dave worked to Motor Clubs hard to get them to agree to pay extra to take the vehicle to a safe location. His efforts should not have been for nothing and things seem to have reverted and towers/road service are changing tires roadside. Members that have Safety Suggestions to Offer... Please add them to this topic. Thank you and Have A Happy 4th July!
