Teen’s body found in towed vehicle days after crash (WI)

Wow, serious issues regarding the tow from this crash scene. The vehicle was not properly searched by more than one individual and car parts were left on the scene. I would say that those individuals who had direct contact with the vehicle will have to answer some questions as to how this could have happened. Obviously, there was a lack of regard and responsibility from the vehicle being checked properly to the vehicle parts not being transported with the vehicle properly. All the tow truck driver would have had to do was open the rear hatch to place the parts inside and that driver would have discovered the teen.

This happens quite often ! ! ! From researching article data and dating back to 1964, topic, 263x injured or deceased individuals have been found in towed or impounded vehicles. Note: Another news segment stated doors to the SUV were open on both sides. Because the SUV allegedly was a stolen vehicle, perhaps it was thought that both driver and passenger ran from the scene ... a reasonable assumption. So, as a stolen recovery, in my mind, law enforcement has responsibility of conducting inventory as a process of impound. It's unfortunate that towers are oftentimes blamed for someone not discovered within, but in this case, it was towed to a city impound yard where, "check in and inventory practices" will be questioned. For towers on-scene, a cursory look inside crashed vehicles (especially on lower floor spaces) by opening doors if they can be opened. One question that certainly will be scrutinized, if the teen was discovered alive at the scene, might he have survived this crash? I'd be interested in learning the outcome of the investigation.
