Take A Trip Down Memory Lane At Stuckey’s Roadside Shop

While not towing related, many here are likely old enough remember family vacations and the places along the way. Stuckey's was one of those iconic places, whether it was just for gas or snacks. Pecan Rolls, Divinity, Pralines, Maybe it was the Moccasins. Oh yeah, a restroom break and then the stores started to go down as travel slowed.

Fewer items made the stores look empty and aging owners that no longer cared. Had a corporation not bought the brand and drove the nail in the coffin Stuckey's might today be the Buc-ee's of the interstate. Is it too late to bring the brand back or will we again see the Blue Roof Stores along the roadways. Do you have a memory of Stuckey's?
