TowBot Posted December 18, 2020 Share Posted December 18, 2020 AAA has announced that it is has suspended its Tow to Go program in support of the nation’s effort to contain COVID-19 The Tow to Go program aims to prevent impaired drivers from getting behind the wheel and endangering themselves and others on the roadway. The program has operated on most major holidays, offering free, confidential rides available to AAA members and non-members. The AAA tow truck transports the vehicle and driver home or somewhere safe within 10 miles. Tow to Go is provided in Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, Nebraska, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Indiana (Fort Wayne and South Bend only). A program of AAA – The Auto Club Group, Tow to Go reminds party-goers of the importance to plan ahead by choosing a designated driver, stay where they are celebrating or arrange for another form of safe transportation such as AAA’s Tow to Go program.
