  1. Watching Jay Lynk wheel himself to the podium and rise up and out of his wheelchair to stand on his permanently damaged legs was a chicken skin moment for the team at Flagman during our June 2 press conference following the lenient sentence imposed on Dean Robert for killing our brother tow operator Corey Iodice. Jay’s determination to stand and courage to speak about how his life has been forever changed by a reckless driver who failed to slow down and move over (SDMO) was an incredible display of perseverance and tenacity witnessed by Senator Blumenthal and everyone present that day. Senator Blumenthal vowed to write new legislation to strengthen CT SDMO laws. Please consider supporting the FlagmanSafety.com’s mission to save lives and prevent serious injury from happening to our first responders.
  2. "Nobody wants to injure or kill another human being when they're out on the road. But being careless and thoughtless and irresponsible even reckless can kill. Slow down, move over is simply a way of enforcing some personal discipline and responsibility to make the road safer." ~Senator Richard Blumenthal
  3. If you kill someone with your motor vehicle because you failed to Slow Down and Move Over for emergency responders you should be given the same life sentence as the survivors. In our recent interview, Senator Blumenthal said he would write new legislation for Connecticut's Slow Down Move Over law, which is currently only punishable by up to a $10,000 fine. Corey Iodice is never coming home. The day Dean Robert was sentenced, the Office of Victim's services sent us an email indicating that Mr Robert may earn up to a maximum 5 days a month off his sentence for good behavior under the Risk Reduction Earned Credit Program (RREC) We stand with Flagman and Senator Blumenthal. Slow Down Move Over laws must include jail time. Iodice Media LLC
  4. It was a privilege to interview CONN DOT’s David Ferraro. Dave was struck and seriously injured by a motorist in 1995 on I95 in Greenwich. He is extremely knowledgeable about safety and passionate and dedicated to helping all highway safety workers and emergency responders get home to their families. 5. Founder Cindy Iodice, and joined by Senator Richard Blumentha. In this landmark case Dean Robert was sentenced under the full extent of CT's Slow Down Move Over Law; however the the judge neglected to sentence Robert to the maximum amount of time in jail. Every responder who works on America's roadways should be outraged. If only CT's Slow Down Move Over Law included mandatory jail time... Flagman needs your support.
