TFD: Tow truck fire near Arkansas River

TULSA — Tulsa Fire Department says that a tow truck was on fire near the Arkansas River in the area of 49th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard.

 

TFD says that one vehicle was in the river and is thought to have been stolen yesterday.

 

The other vehicle, a tow truck, was attempting to get the car out of the river this morning, TFD says.

 

The driver of the tow truck had to leave to get help and when they came back, the tow truck was on e, TFD says.

 

There is no further information at this time.
