Medium Duty Wrecker conversion question.

Hey guys, we are just mostly a one man operation with 2 rollbacks a F550 19 foot bed and a F700 with 21 foot bed and an old side puller. We are thinking about converting the F700 to a wrecker to get more use out of the old truck.  We really love the old truck. It has the 12 valve 5.9 cummins, air brakes and the wheel base is about 236 inches. Cab to Axle is about 165 inches. The truck gets very little use now as it only goes out on accidents and the occasional vehicle that is too big for the f550. Front axle weight the way it sits is 6840 and rear axle weighs 10780. My question is how useable is this truck with say a Vulcan 897 or Holmes 552.  It is a 26000 lb truck. Will we be able to do box trucks, school busses and some motorhomes?  We are in a very rural area and still would probable not get a lot of use towing but maybe more use recovery and winching. Any input would be appreciated.
