(FOX Carolina) - The Clemson Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a hit and run. The department said the crash took place on Wednesday, April 17 at around 9 p.m. on Old Greenville Highway. Police said they were working another crash and diverting traffic into the center turn lane to go around the scene when the vehicle hit one of the tow truck workers. The worker was knocked to the ground and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. “We believe the driver was looking at the crash scene and not paying attention to what was in front of them,” officials said.
