TowForce Posted April 2 Share Posted April 2 Driver killed in 2-vehicle crash in Iberville Parish, troopers say IBERVILLE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Troopers with Louisiana State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one person dead early Monday morning, April 1. Troopers said the crash happened just after 2 a.m. on LA 1 near the intersection of Texas Road in Iberville Parish and claimed the life of Khai Alexia Walker, 18, of Brusly. Walker was a 2023 graduate of Brusly High School. A preliminary investigation revealed that Walker was driving north on LA 1 just before the crash happened, troopers said. They added that at the same time, a Ford tow truck was headed south on LA 1. Walker’s vehicle and the tow truck collided head-on, and after the initial impact, there was a secondary impact between the two vehicles, according to LSP. Troopers said Walker was unrestrained at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Walker’s vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
