Woman killed while waiting for car to be loaded onto tow truck on I-20

 

 

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A woman is dead after she was struck on Interstate 20 east near Fulton Industrial Boulevard exit on Monday morning.

 

According to South Fulton Police Department, she was waiting for her car to be loaded onto a tow truck shortly before 5 a.m. when she was fatally injured.

 

The SFPD Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. Police say that driver who struck her stayed on the scene and suffered minor injuries, along with a passenger in car that struck the woman. 

 

No other information has been released about the victim at this time.
