At Least One Person Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision on State Route 33 near Canada Larga Road

Ventura, California (September 12, 2023) – At least one person was seriously hurt in a traffic collision that took place Monday evening in Ventura, the California Highway Patrol said.

Officers received reports of the collision around 6:07 p.m. on southbound State Route 33, just south of Canada Larga Road.

Reportedly, a tow truck was pulling a vehicle when another car hit the tow truck.

Firefighters and AMR responded to the scene and transported at least one person to the hospital with major injuries. It was unclear which car the patient occupied.

No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
