Man dies after being hit by truck thief, suspect charged with murder, Dallas police say

A man died nearly a week after being hit by a suspected tow-truck thief, according to Dallas police.

 

He was hit Aug. 6 around 10,:30 p.m. The suspect, Osahon Mike-Irabor, tried stealing a tow truck from the 7000 block of South Central Expressway and hit the victim, police said. The victim, who wasn’t immediately identified, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He later died Saturday, police said.

 

Mike-Irabor was arrested Tuesday. He faces charges including murder. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
