TowForce Posted July 29, 2023 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Loaded tow truck overturns after t-boning car at highway speeds All vehicles involved in collision overturned JASPER COUNTY, Mo. — About 7:30 p.m. Friday evening, July 28, reports of a two-vehicle double-rollover crash on West 7th and Blackcat Road. METS ambulance, METRO1, Carl Junction Fire Dept, and Jasper County Deputies responded. CJ requested mutual aid from Joplin Fire Dept and Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified. On scene we learn from Cpl Jeff Prewitt of Troop D, a Metro Towing AAA wrecker was traveling east on West 7th/MO-66. A passenger car traveling north on Blackcat pulled into the path of the wrecker. The passenger car was t-boned violently. The wrecker was hauling a vehicle and both overturned into the right ditch. Two were transported from the car. And one from the wrecker. All were communicating as transported with non-life-threatening injuries. Rosenberg Towing removed the passenger car. Metro Towing removed the other two vehicles with some assistance by Ron’s Towing.
