TowZone
PORTSMOUTH — A 29-year-old West Warwick man was arrested Friday, Oct. 21, and charged with disorderly conduct (making loud/disturbing noises). While on patrol in the area of East Main Road near Clements’ Marketplace shortly before 12:30 p.m., officers clocked a northbound vehicle traveling at about 40 mph in a 25 mph zone, and noticed that its registration sticker had expired, police said. After the vehicle was pulled over on East Main Road at Bradley Terrace, a routine check revealed that the driver, Matthew J. Brown, of 325 New London Ave., had his rights to operate a motor vehicle suspended, police said. While the vehicle was being towed away from the scene, Brown began swearing and yelling alongside East Main Road, according to police. As an R&A Towing vehicle was about to drive away, Brown tried to jump onto the tow truck in an attempt to gain entry to his vehicle, police said. Brown was also charged with driving without an active license. Resource Link
