TowTimes
From Geri Roskopf's Blog: The 32nd Annual SourceBook for 2022-2023 in the September issue of Tow Times made me think of the Sears mail order catalogs I use to receive. Sears, Roebuck and Co., commonly known as Sears, was founded in 1892 by Richard Warren Sears and Alvah Curtis Roebuck. It started out as a mail-ordering catalog company. At first, the catalog featured watches and jewelry, but soon branched out to selling everything from sewing machines and bicycles to things needed for the home or farm. For my kids, however, the Sears Christmas wish list catalog was what they couldn’t wait to get in the mail. They would spend hours going through the book, drawing circles around the items they wanted, or wished for. There were many toy items circled, and the pages soon became very ragged. The SourceBook showcases lots of equipment manufacturers, equipment distributors, accessories, products and services and websites for anything related to the towing and recovery industry. Just like my kids did for their Christmas wish list, get a red pen ready and start circling the suppliers for your own towing wish list. All the contact information you need to research your list is right at your fingertips. The SourceBook asks you to support the suppliers that support you, and to be sure to mention Tow Times and use the supplied codes for discounts — an extra bonus! Good luck shopping.
