TowTimes.com - Tow Truck Warning And Work Lights

Recommended Posts

2364180169_29f6d3629b_z-300x225.jpgWarning lights are often mentioned when addressing traffic incident management and roadside safety, particularly for tow truck operators responding to roadside calls and incidents. Tow trucks are authorized to display warning lights t0 warn oncoming traffic when the truck is in the roadway obstructing traffic, or a traffic hazard exists. The regulation of tow truck lighting, or the lack thereof, varies among states. A discussion about warning lights usually starts out along two lines: “we need more warning lights,” or, “we need different color lights for the trucks.”
