TowZone
Southwest Fire District, Yoder, Indiana It's a teaching moment "Last evening our engine was on the scene of a crash. A secondary crash occurred when a passenger car struck the rear of the engine. Several minutes later personnel noticed a semi losing control and coming straight into their path. The semi struck the tow truck in scene which caused a chain reaction crash involving the tow truck, the passenger vehicle that had just previously struck the engine, the engine and the officers vehicle. All individuals on scene were safe and thankfully went home to their families. This is not always the case and this is a reminder to always slow down and move over if you approach emergency vehicles. With inclement weather as we had last evening, it's even more vital to operate your vehicle with caution depending on conditions.
