Single-vehicle tow truck rollover crash Plum Grove Rd and State Pkwy Schaumburg

 

 

Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Schaumburg responded about 10:26 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries and possible entrapment at Plum Grove Road and East State Parkway in Schaumburg.

 

Police, firefighters and paramedics on arrival discovered a single-vehicle crash at the roundabout intersection with a tow truck on its roof. The driver of the tow truck was outside the vehicle, and had not been entrapped in the tow truck.

 

Several crews from Redmon’s Village Towing uprighted the tow truck, cleaned up the scene, and towed the vehicle away.

 

Initially no word from the Schaumburg Police Department, but it appeared the driver will be facing some traffic citations.
