TowZone Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 A Good Old Irish Feller with a Green Coveralls use to drive that beauty back in the day, It wouldn't carry it's own weight or go more than 25 mph hour. But, you know what he made it work in both the hot and cold. Nope No A/C or Heat, not even a Radio. Don't think there is a driver alive today that could survive, that is unless they were driving it in a parade. Even at that they'd need to know how to drive a manual. As for the crane manufacturer, I would not have a clue. could have been someone own design they put together back then. Looks like it could have been a steel girder the type they used on bridges or sky scrappers. Disclaimer: I don't actually know if the man who drove this wrecker was actually Irish or if he even wore Coveralls. I do know that was common for some back in those days. 3 Quote
