It is a constant reminder of the danger that is always lurking for us, every second of every minute that we are in harms way out there. So sorry for Ryan's family, friends, and coworkers. Let's keep them all in our thoughts and prayers.

I heard this on the local news last night, very scary stuff. They said the tow drivers were going to be okay. This kind of stuff still makes my blood boil. Be safe everyone, as my old friend Randy says : "Head on a swivel". 

Great story, way to end the year on a high note! Our industry has many heroes, most of them go unnoticed by the general public. That's okay. It takes a special breed of human to do this work. You are all heroes, each and every one. Happy New Year!

My sincerest condolences to the family, coworkers, and friends of this poor soul. May the perpetrators be caught and held accountable. 

Such a tragic loss, condolences and sympathies to the family, friends, and coworkers of the fallen Road Angel. 

Sympathies and thoughts are with his family and coworkers and friends. This needs to stop happening on such a regular basis. Everyone, please be careful out there.

Condolences to his family and close friends. I didn't know "Scooby", but it sounds like the Towing World lost a good, good man. Although, now there is one more "Good Guy" up above watching out for Tow Operators and Impound Lot Operators all over this Earth. Peace to his memory.

I'm saddened and heartbroken by the sight of this horrific collision. Best wishes for the family, friends, and coworkers of this poor soul who perished while in the line of duty. Another tragic event to underscore the dangers inherent in our chosen career paths. Be safe fellow Tow Operators.

These unnecessary tragic events are maddening. We have to stay vigilant and keep one eye on the road at all times. So sad....

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for the unfortunate driver who was struck by another uncaring, selfish motorist who refuses to slow down and/or move over when we are working out there. May our Higher Power watch over us and keep us safe.

The tragic loss of life is preventable. Randy teaches in his class that Safety is #1! Next comes Safety, followed by Safety. It's real easy to remember the order that those go in guys and girls. Your family needs you more that that breakdown does. Condolences.

Wow, it's refreshing to read that a negligent driver is being held accountable for their actions. We need more enforcement of the "Move Over" laws that are in effect, and we need to see those laws passed in States that do not currently have them on the books. Just my two cents.

My sincerest condolences to the families, friends, and coworkers involved on all sides. So sad!

Very beautiful to see so many folks come out to support the family and friends of the fallen tow operator. My sympathies.

We are actually trying to "enjoy" our first Monsoon of the season, coming very late. We barely got any precipitation today, but it was wayyyyy cooler, down to only 100-degrees today!!
