Kat
The Work Truck Week is an annual event that brings together professionals from the trucking industry to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the field. This year, the event kicked off with the Green Truck Summit, which focused the evolution of the commercial EV vehicle landscape. The first day of the Green Truck Summit was an exciting and informative one, with experts from various industries sharing their insights on the future of sustainable transportation. The day began with a keynote address by Jennifer Rumsey, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Cummins Inc. Following Jennifer Rumsey keynote, experts discussed the Challenges and Opportunities in Vehicle Battery Technology. No part of a commercial vehicle is immune to innovation. As electric vehicles continue to change, grow and progress, so too must battery technology. We learn how advancements in battery technology and materials will allow for continued growth in the vocational market. Throughout the day, there were also several breakout sessions that focused on specific topics related to sustainable transportation. These sessions covered a wide range of topics, including alternative fuel options, fleet management strategies, and new technologies that are being developed to improve the efficiency of commercial vehicles. Overall, the first day of the Green Truck Summit was a great success. The event provided valuable insights into the latest developments in sustainable transportation and gave attendees the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry. With the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions, events like the Green Truck Summit are more important than ever, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the Work Truck Week has in store.
