TowForce
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A tense dispute between a tow truck driver and another driver led to a shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade, Friday afternoon. According to police, around 2:30 p.m., outside of Ultimate Auto Werks at Southwest 122nd Avenue and 128th Street, a male tow truck driver got into a dispute with a male driver. “The only thing I heard was three gunshots,” said a man who only wants to go by “Ian.” He was working a few doors down when he heard the shots. He along with several other witnesses said the chaos ensued when the driver of the tow truck parked it in front of this business, which blocked the entrance, and when the business owner asked him to move the truck, the witnesses said, things escalated, and the tow truck driver shot the business owner. “They had a physical altercation,” Ian said. “They got separated after. That’s when the gun was drawn. Next thing you know, I looked over there, and the guy was holding his wounds.” Police and paramedics would soon show up, and the victim was rushed to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in stable condition. The shooter was taken into police custody. Miami-Dade Police detectives are investigating. RESOURCE LINK
