KY Nick
Have a couple questions about the cradle. In the manual there is an item called friction adjustment to prevent the cradle from pivoting side to side when backing under the car. I see 2 holes for the friction adjustment. What was used for the adjustment? Are these holes supposed to be threaded? Next question the wing nut that holds the lower link up to tailboard is that bolt go directly through tailboad or mount to the cradle assembly? rreschran
I don't know if you got an answer to your question about the Holmes Cradle, but call Tim at T&M Towing/Crocket's Interstate Towing, in Eugene, Oregon, 541-485-3106. He has one similar and fully restored mounted on a vintage Chevy wrecker that's an American Towman winner in the Vintage Category. R.
