From TowTimes.com - Tow Operator Struck/Seriously Injured in Mountain View, California

A tow operator suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car Thursday, May 7, in Mountain View, Calif.

How the incident occurred is unclear, and little information is available at this time.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the operator was hit at approximately 7:26 a.m on Highway 101 near the Ellis Street on-ramp and was taken to Stanford Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident.

I made several phone calls yesterday in an attempt to verify the tow operator struck and the company involved.


The information I have is this was a Santa Clara Tow Company and it was likely a CHP ordered tow he was on.


If anyone has more details please add them. Thank you
