Platinum Sponsor BigWheelArchives Posted February 14, 2018 Platinum Sponsor Share Posted February 14, 2018 5-16-05 Received a call from Lakeville, Mass Police to respond immediately to Island Terrace Rd. which runs between the city resevoir for a loaded Boom Truck towing a large tree chipper that had rolled over and was leaking a large amount of diesel and hydraulic fluid into the water. We responded with our two 60 ton rotators to lift the entire unit up and spin it over back onto its wheels. We also used the crane to retrieve the chipper and turn it over onto its wheels as well. We then hooked the boom truck to one of our rotators and transported it to our Freetown location and the chipper was transported by ramp truck to our main shop in Freetown, Mass. Ed Barker said: Good job,Do you have any trouble getting payed for the use of the two rotators on a straight truck?,,,,just kind of curious on how you bill a job like that???????,,,,,Glad to see these wrecks of yours on here ,keep them coming. The insurance adjusters in MA or the NE part of the US must be A LOT different than the ones we have here...they complain about everything (and the owners do as well).
