Atikovi Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 It's this 2007 Silverado with the 6.0L gasser. Had no problem towing this limo that probably weighed more. Will be towing an E150 van, ass-backwards for about 150 miles. Only concern would be the greater frontal area of the van. 1 Quote
GRUMPS The Towman Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I personally dont see an issue as long as the van isnt loaded to the hilt with tools, gear and such. with the 6.0 gas job, you will be passing everything but the gas stations. She does seem sucked down a bit with that caddy on the hook though. Might be time for a beefier set of springs or airbag levelers maybe? Its your truck so you know it best of course. Atikovi Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 Yep, 12 to 13 mpg loaded or empty, doesn't seem to make a difference. Quote

My 1 ton chevy pickup with the 6.0 is the same way. 12mpg empty or loaded with the 26' racecar hauler. Quote PROFESSIONAL TOWING & RECOVERY IS NOT JUST A JOB.. IT IS A LIFESTYLE
