TowZone
08-14-14: ESC Wrote, We were emailed from a new roadside company with an application, etc. I was just checking them out and it looks like they have been working in the Washington DC area and are planning to expand. I found very little info about them online so far. Looks like they are a mobile app setup. From what their email says, they have a deal going with Mapquest to provide road service. The rates show $75 flat rate for up to 6 miles and payment within 48 hours. At least they are getting near the ballpark price wise compared to the other clubs.http://www.bizjournals.com/washington/b ... l?page=allhttps://itunes.apple.com/us/app/urgent. ... 72095?mt=8http://tech.co/urgently-cit-gap-funds-2014-04 Palm Beach Roadside said: Got an email from them today asking to become a provider. I laughed and told them to take me off their call list.
RodVT
I have had a few phone calls from them in the last month or so. The calls are always out of my area, and the timing has been bad, so I haven’t even offered a price yet, but really, they are on my “we don’t need them and they are bad for towers list” so I am not inclined to help them anyway. We tried withe them for a short time, and it didnt work for us. They shorted me one time for $100, now they were put on credit card only, and I charge a $175 minimum to start a truck for them. BlackAutoload
I did the same a couple months back. They kept deducting $20 from every call.... and then had the nerve to call and ask me to sign up again a few weeks ago. HAHA No thanks! WE have the trucks, all you have is a phone.
