Dump Truck Wheel Lift Tow

Recommended Posts

May I ask why you chose to wheel lift it as opposed to setting it on the deck? Your rig can certainly handle it  ( And she is a beauty by the way ). I have on occasion grabbed a vehicle with my wheel lift for a quick move or positioning but I usually dont really tow on it unless I have another one on the deck not only for nose weight but so I dont beat up my bed locks.

Thanks

Its a 4wd plow truck. R/F wheel unable to roll! & was a 5 mile tow, back to our shop.

Bed has 8.5t capacity with 5k wheel lift

Drove like there wasn’t anything being towed.

Recently purchased 3.5x3.5 fork holders for crossbar, definitely should help towing heavier trucks.

Nice. i figured it was probably a short tow for you. I woulda done it the same way. for that type of disablement. The frame fork adapters will certainly change the game for you. Nice work
