Today, a Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper was injured while working an active crash scene in Stanton, Lubbock County, Texas.

Please view this via KSAT12News. Last week a father was killed when a suspected intoxicated driver crashed into a Bexar County Sheriff's Department marked unit. The deceased was with his wife and daughter traveling from Arizona when they were initially involved in a crash. The deputy was on scene with a rotation wrecker to clear the scene. The suspect crashed into the marked patrol unit with such force, the unit was rolled onto it's side, trapping the parents underneath. The father succumbed  to his injuies a few days later.

Please be extra vigilant.

It is a long, treacherous stretch to the new year.

Soiunds like that was a horrible scene...I am so ready for this year to end. Although not much if anything will change at least the count of Operators killed and injured will start over and we wont have to look at the horrific numbers of this past year. Wishful thinking I suppose.

PROFESSIONAL TOWING & RECOVERY IS NOT JUST A JOB.. IT IS A LIFESTYLE
