luigi
Another driver was on scene for this winch out of a tree service truck stuck in a field. Our driver was parked on the main road that runs parallel with the field, having his cables through the tree line. Once the truck was too the edge, it had to make a 90 degree right turn to get to the break in the tree line. My driver was talking about driving into the field to complete the winch out. After having to explain why that was a bad a few times, I went out in our f550 4x4 mpl-ng wrecker. Getting it around the turn was the difficult part due to the Med duty wrecker staying on the road without blocking the entire road. After a couple different brain storms, I drove the f550 into the field, staying in the soft but dry section. By place my truck there to act as a dead man, and the 2 snatch blocks to the front of the tree truck, it came out nice and smooth. Here's my poor attempt at a drawing to try to explain lol
