TowNews
It has been reported by Roadside Rescue & Transport of off Massachusetts that they got one of the scariest calls for service that a Tow Truck Driver can receive. To respond to a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a Tow Truck with the reports of the driver down ! Radio reports were that the driver was struck while outside of his truck servicing a vehicle. They stated with lumps in their throats their team responded to the crash involving 4 vehicles. The Tow Truck had been struck from the rear pushing it into the vehicle that the driver was servicing. The Tow Truck driver was hit by the Jack and thankfully only sustained minor injuries. While the driver that struck the tow truck was also injured. The posts says Please let these photos remind us of the Slow Down, Move Over ! It's the Law ! We do not want to go to another Tow Drivers funeral. This has to stop !!!!!!!! Roadside Rescue & Transport posted these images with the permission from owners of Watertown Towing. It was a discussion they had collectively and felt this message needs to be sent out to the public. This can happen this close to home. Please, Slow Down & Move Over ! Our Lives Depend on it everyday.
GRUMPS The Towman
Glad to hear the operator is ok. And thank you to Watertown Towing for allowing photos of your damaged equipment to be shown. As a business owner I know it can be difficult to display your tore up equipment like that because it can give the general public a negative perspective of your business, But people NEED to see this and realize the carnage they cause when they dont pay attention. SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER!!!!!!!! 1 Quote PROFESSIONAL TOWING & RECOVERY IS NOT JUST A JOB.. IT IS A LIFESTYLE
