All four wheels locked up?

All four wheels locked up....no power to the vehicle, no problem with Collins Carrier Dollies.

I have discovered that some models of Tesla do NOT have room for a regular Go-Jak on the rear wheels (Tesla backed into a corner) - there are some kind of protrusions on the underbody that interfere with Go-Jak placement.  I know the post is about the Collins Carrier dollies, but since it's a related topic, thought I'd throw this FYI out there so others could beware.

Checked out the Collins Carrier Dollies at tow show.    Only concern I had was limited tire width, only 7” width I was told.

Will dollies work with vehicles with wide tires( new Corvette, BMW X series etc.) ?

How do you put them on? They look real strong which i like but what kind of pain in the a$$ are they to load or store??

In my humble opinion they are a great tool & are well constructed..we have used our set extensively and have never had a problem. As for storage, we have our 4 wheel set in a 60 x 24 x 18 underbed box along with assorted blocks and the load bar. Never leave the shop w/o them.

Chuckud, can dollies be used with any width tire?   

Was told 7” max & larger would interfere

I've never had a problem but I could see a 10 inch or larger width tire being an issue.

Majority of high line vehicles in my area that would need dollies have low profile wide tires

 

If dollies are re-deigned to accommodate larger   tires, would definitely buy
