Stclurker
So I know the pdf about lifting the front end of the new cascadias and setting it on the under reach, how are you guys doing it with a DTU? also has anyone come up with any tips or tricks for the driveshaft? Duckman
So I know the pdf about lifting the front end of the new cascadias and setting it on the under reach, how are you guys doing it with a DTU? also has anyone come up with any tips or tricks for the driveshaft?I operate an NRC quickswap, I have only towed two of these so far. On one I put the pull pins in, turned my forks sideways and lifted the pull pins same as you would with a stick wrecker. You have to be careful and make sure you don't hit the bumper, but it can be done. The second I removed the lower section of the bumper because it was damaged. As far as the driveshaft, if it has the flange assembly, the bolts are 21mm. I used a short impact socket with a 5"wobble extension on my impact. No issues pulling it.Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
Day and Nite Towing
We have done the same, make sure the brakes are set or wheels blocked before you pick. The new flange mount might even be easier to put the shaft back in when doing a swap.
