Question for Towers in areas where AAA has their own fleet

I am interested in knowing if anyone has any feedback on the question of how are cash tows affected in cities where AAA has their own fleet? I am guessing that they do take cash calls, but maybe not??? If they do, has anyone found that it is a significant share? How do they handle accident tows when they are the requested service? Do they have a storage yard and the call is treated like a regular insurance tow?

Apparently, AAA is considering (or at least threatening) to install a fleet in my area and I am curious how it will affect the non-motor-club calls (I am not contracted with them).

Please limit responses to non-club-provider issues so this can stay in an open forum. I just want to know how the market might change from some others who have seen the results.

thanks,

Rod
