TowNews
A car fire shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 35W early Sunday after the vehicle came loose from a tow truck in Fort Worth, officials say. The fire occurred about 3 a.m. beneath the Vickery Boulevard bridge. Police said it was unclear whether the fire was caused by the car crashing into a roadside barrier or a wall. No one was inside the car, which didn’t hit any other vehicles on the highway, police said. No injuries were reported. Authorities shut down all northbound lanes of the highway and reopened them about 4:15 a.m. The name of the tow truck driver was not released.
