Just a thought Don ... I read your article and respectfully recommend that Topic #4 is added to focus on that of operator safety; for more tow operators are killed in the use of flatbed carriers due to lack of operator safety, inadequate training, not understanding how-to operate the carrier in its fullest, AND staying off the white-line side. Too many towers read how easy it is to get into a new tow truck or carrier, but don't know what dangers that exist when using, driving and maintaining them.    R.
