TowBot Posted July 9, 2019 Share Posted July 9, 2019 The man accused of stabbing a tow operator to death near Woodside, Calif., on June 18 has plead not guilty and requests to represent himself in court. Malik Dosouqi, 26, is suspected of luring tow operator John Pekipaki, 31, to a remote location and stabbing him. Officers discovered mortally-wounded Pekipaki while investigating the previous, fatal stabbing of Pacifica, Calif., taxi driver Abdulmalek Nasher near the same location. Nasher is believed to have also been lured to the area by Dosouqi. Dosouqi has been charged with two counts of murder with enhancements and if convicted could face the death penalty A hearing has been scheduled for July 17 regarding Dosouqi’s request for self representation with a preliminary hearing to be held the following day.
