TowNews
A 33-year-old man who allegedly carjacked a tow truck at gunpoint before leading Pueblo police officers on a chase through the East Side was arrested Thursday afternoon. According to Capt. Joe Garcia, the suspect – who police have not yet identified – is wanted on additional charges of vehicle theft in unrelated cases and is facing numerous charges in relation to Thursday’s incident, including armed robbery and automobile theft. The suspect’s evasion of police was brought to an end when officers deployed stop sticks, which caused the tow truck’s tires to deflate. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Pueblo County jail. RESOURCE LINK
