Tow truck driver falls asleep, crashes into Detroit hookah lounge (MI)

DETROIT (WXYZ) — A Detroit hookah lounge owner is stuck with thousands of dollars worth of damage after a tow truck crashed into his business.

Surveillance video captured the collision which happened early Saturday morning.

 

The store owner told a 7 Action News photojournalist a tow truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into the Paradise Hookah at 9000 Michigan Avenue near I-94.

 

Police are still investigating the incident.
