Recommended Posts

My friend, mentor and buddy Bill Bottoms has passed.

Bill was an innovator in the towing industry. Bill owned and was the entrepreneur of B & B Industries, All Pro Industries and Challenger Wrecker MFG all of Elkhart IN.

Bill was a creator, designer and inventor. Bill was very instrumental in the manufacturing of hydraulic wreckers, carriers and wheel lifts. He invented the hydraulic rotator that is used thru out the world today to clear accident scenes and keep traffic lanes open.

Bill has employed thousands upon thousands of people over the years. Many of today's leaders in the towing industry got their start with Bill Bottoms either thru the manufacturing side or the end user side.

Bill also was the inventor of the Port A Party. The Port A Party is a hydraulic trailer that unfolds into a self-contained sports bar that can be used anywhere. You will see them at major concerts, sporting events and races.

In order to pay respect to Bill and his family we are organizing a procession of tow trucks to pass by the chapel. All tow trucks and carriers are welcome but B & B Industries, All Pro Industries and Challenger Wreckers tow trucks will lead the parade. We will have a police escort to the chapel. We will start staging the trucks at 12 noon on Monday the 10 of December.

Staging Area for tow trucks only is:
Granger Community Church North Lot (12 Noon Start Staging)
15503 Cleveland Rd
Granger, IN 46530
Anyone wishing to volunteer to help park trucks or if you have any questions please contact Pat Winer 630-878-9837.
Visitation and services for Bill will be held on Sunday Dec 9th from 2 pm to 8 pm and on Monday from 11 am to 2 pm with services starting at 2pm. At:
Mc Gann Hay Granger Chapel
13260 SR 23
Granger, IN 46530
