EdsTowing Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 A 55 Ford Fairlane we towed the other day for a fuel pump problem...Check out that Air Conditioning attachment!
goodmichael Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Thanks for sharing. Gone is the era when a car was a car, the dollar was worth a dollar, and a man's word was his bond.
mooresbp Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Pretty cool. Good to hear from you Ed. Missed your posts, George - - Moore's BP We'll see you on down the road
BlackAutoload Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Sweet rides. I can't imagine having to sling this type of ride back in the day.
EdsTowing Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Yea it seems odd but "doable"...This one was a little before my time. I started in the early 80's and ran a sling truck (Holmes 1200). I slung Vette's....after that everything was a breeze... LoL
mooresbp Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I learned on a sling truck too (all we had) and dollies (with pans not self loaders), so you had to get creative once in a while. But no one wants to hear those stories anymore. We have come a long ways to beds and self loaders it has been quite a ride. George - - Moore's BP We'll see you on down the road
