Getting ready to go to work, a kiss goodbye and in the tow truck you go.

I say a prayer you have a good day and you’ll be safe on the roads as you tow.

It doesn’t matter the weather or road conditions; you just smile, wave and be on your way.

I know you love the job that you do – helping motorists when they are having a bad day.

I hope you know, too, I don’t just pray for your safety, but all tow operators and emergency responders working 24/7/365.

The loss of any tow operator affects the whole towing community; close calls are becoming way too common because of distracted motorists as they drive.

Through everything, you remain a professional handling it all.

Long days and nights, missing meals, family events and being asked, “Would you do one more call?”.

Move over, slow down is a constant message to motorists to help keep you safe while working on the roadways.

Hearing the key being turned as you get home, I breathe a sigh of relief, say a prayer of thanks and then finally ask, “How was your day?”
