EdsTowing Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Got a 2 car the other night...terrible timing but it all worked out in the end. Lady was delivering Door Dash to a rural house and she parked partially in the roadway to deliver it. A new Jeep Gladiator came along and hit it, then careened off in to the woods & hit a tree... I was in a wrecker and Rob in his carrier. I saw this Buick was AWD and the jeep was heavily damaged so I said I would grab this from the rear and dolly the front. We had to wait for the ambulance to finish So I figured we would set the front up on the dolly. I could see something didn't look right on the rear with the tire hanging out like that. So once the 1st ambulance moves, we get to work... I go to back up to the rear of the SUV and could see in the camera that there was something under the rear of the car? I get out to look and find that the car got knocked over a concrete "foundation" for a mail box and I can't get under it. So I lifted the car with the arms under the spare tire, lifted it up, extended all the way out and then cocked my truck hard to "swing" it over & off the obstruction... Then I could side shoot it for the final pick... It would be a lot easier with my truck...the Jerr Dan excels at side loading like this plus the truck is shorter & easier to maneuver. Turned up that the whole right rear assembly was only held on by the CV axle so I strapped it fast so we didn't loose anything on the way home. 5 Quote
Stuart Wagner Posted November 28 Posted November 28 We had a lot of these delivery people get their insurance claim denied because they need commercial insurance to do door dash and other deliveries etc. 1 Quote Check out our website at: www.cjwagnerinc.com
dperone Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Looking good. We've been seeing more and more bad parking decisions with Amazon and other 3rd party delivery services. 1 Quote

Did a pretty big property damage clean up last year and got denied on a 2 year old car w/ full coverage because of it. I specifically told this woman not to mention what she was doing there when she started the claim. It will probably come out in subrogation somewhere down the line but I am already paid... 2 Quote
