EdsTowing Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Got a call last night...about 3 min before 5:00. Already called my wife and told her I'm heading home but then this guy had different plans. Gave him a hefty price to tow a complete unit figuring maybe he would call one of the two other companies within a 100 yards of him but no luck...LoL So I get on scene at the truck plaza and can't find a Cascadia? Take a wild guess at which truck needs to be towed? Engine keeps shutting down after 30 seconds or so, even with the "Override" button being held. So I do a couple cycles to build up enough air. And then a couple cycles to back it out in the parking lot where I could get to it.... At least truck stops aren't typically too busy around 5:30 - 6:00 at night, right?... Get hooked and drug it to the Freightliner dealer where I pull up in front of the place...all 125' of me...to realize they changed their hours and lock the gate @ 5:00... I wouldn't expect this job to go any other way. They have a little paved "strip" along the edge of the road in front of their fence...and of course someone parked a car there.. but I backed it in there so they can deal with it in the morning... It's always something with this business.... 3 Quote
