Michael987789
I found this forum while looking at heavy duty recovery videos. I'm not in the business but my first job out of high school was working for a rural small town Ford dealer and they had a Holmes 600 on a rusty 69 Ford F600 and a 480 on a 71 F350. The 600 was used to bring in fertilizer trucks and farm trucks to the shop and go pull them out when they got stuck. I had a lot of fun playing with the 600. There was so much it would do and I studied all of its functions. I liked that it was so hands on and using it to it's full potential required a brain. The body had cabinets in the front and it had all the original equipment. Snatch blocks and scotch blocks. The only thing it needed was a bigger truck to mount it on and a larger tow bar so I could haul semi tractors.
