Wrecker Identification

Im looking to get a wrecker for my farm and to just play around with. I found one for sale say its a holmes 3540. I cant find any info on that. Would anyone be able to tell from a picture what it is. Its on a 83 chevy 3500 if that helps. Thanks

I don't know what it is....but I know what it "Isn't"...and that's a Holmes. Looks like a "welding shop" body but does appear to have manufactured components? Good luck identifying it. And also, that isn't a Holmes product number (3540).

That might be a Stringfellow. I believe they were made in Tennessee. I am not sure but I think they used some of the Holmes W35 gear boxes. And the gear box looks like that what it might be.

TWINBOOM is correct.  We have a 20ish ton on a single axle.
