Art, your right on that, it wouldn't be good for the under reach in a driveway. Its more for if something broke at 60mph and that truck hit the ground fast, if its a heavy truck, its going to drag the ass of most wreckers all over the place.

Actually just the opposite a tag axle is only offered to my knowledge by NRC which puts weight back on the steer axle hence the word "tag" or behind. Now a pusher axle most defiantly will take some weight off of the steer.
